SINGAPORE, MARCH 23 2023 — Movel AI, a Singapore-based robotics software, deep tech startup, today announced it is partnering with SIIX-AGT, the leading developer of motor controllers and base robotic chassis for semi- and fully Autonomous Vehicles, Industry 4.0 solutions as well as IoT and robotic platforms. The partnership between SIIX AGT’s modular controllers and Movel AI’s robotics navigation solutions will result in a full suite of compatible software and hardware solutions that will benefit robotics companies to accelerate robot development, to meet the anticipated rise in demand for robotics amid the 2023 slowdown.
The collaboration between SIIX-AGT and Movel AI is nothing new, the two companies have previously worked together in 2019 when researching for grass cutting robots. The trust established between the two was then strengthened in this year's strategic partnership.
Movel AI offers a robotics navigation solution for autonomous robots or mobility platforms called Seirios RNS (robot navigation system). Seirios is built with SLAM technology to let robots understand the environment faster. With its simple user interface (UI) design, everyone can operate their robots easily. Robots can be deployed within five days, depending on the speed and stability of the internet connection. Helping companies to save time and money.

SIIX AGT’s SMART Drive FOC is an all-in-one single-board, heat-sinkless solution for motion control, with the capability to handle payloads ranging from 300 to 1000 kg.
SIIX-AGT SMART Driver module enables robots to run with greater efficiency, thanks to its outstanding power factor and high efficiency. The module also facilitates smooth operation with low torque ripples, and provides a quick dynamic response to load and speed changes, resulting in less noise and higher precision. Additionally, this module offers a compact and highly reliable single-board design.

With the integration, Movel AI's Seirios RNS is built into an industrial PC which is connected to SIIX AGT's SMART Box and SMART Drive, thus allowing the hardware to run safely and smoothly and allowing end users to have a full suite of robotics software and hardware solutions.

According to the World Bank Group, the global economy will grow just 1.7% by 2023, predicting a slowdown in growth. This makes cost efficiency the key theme of this year's global economy in order to secure cash flow. Ultimately, more and more players will embrace automation. It is expected that in five years, demand for automation in the manufacturing industry is still growing, and the industrial robot market is expected to maintain an average growth rate of 5% to 7% in the next five years, as stated by Automation. As a result, robotics and automation industry players are best positioned to continue meeting demand throughout the year.
